Het Bosbad is, samen met de Bosvijver, in de jaren \u201820 van de vorige eeuw uitgegraven om werk te cre\u00ebren voor de vele werklozen in die tijd. Het uitgegraven zand werd op een grote heuvel gegooid. Al vrij snel in de route loop je langs de Bosvijver, waar je prachtige doorkijkjes hebt op het water en een grote metalen ijsvogel ziet. Ook ga je over de heuvel die eens afgegraven zand was, maar inmiddels een uitzichtpunt is. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De route vervolgt zich naar een pinetum, een naaldbomentuin. Hier vonden we een aantal fantastische bankjes om rustig naar de bomen en de vogels te kijken. Vooral roodborstjes kwamen ontzettend dichtbij.
