Ik hou wel van een goeie tegenstelling. En die kom je zeker tegen tijdens deze wandeling. De route start bij de enorme parkeerplaats van IJmuiden en je loopt vanaf daar direct de duinen in. Het pad loopt langs een ven en daar kan je heel goed vogels kijken. <\/p>\n

Echt een leuk en stil plekje.\u00a0<\/span>Het is handig om de GPX-route bij de hand te houden, want ik liep al snel verkeerd en toen nog een keer en toen n\u00f3g een keer. Vervolgens stond ik per ongeluk opeens weer op de parkeerplaats en liep ik w\u00e9\u00e9r verkeerd. De pijlen zijn echt ontzettend onduidelijk uitgezet en het is soms net een speurtocht, maar als je een foutje maakt, ben je de sigaar en loop je verkeerd.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/span>Het pad leidt je vervolgens langs de bunkers die je in deze omgeving overal terug kunt vinden. Daarna loop je via de weg een stuk omhoog het Semafoonduin op. Hier kom je een vuurtoren tegen en een verdwaalde Engelse telefooncel. Hier staan ook een aantal huisjes die ongetwijfeld voor havenarbeiders bedoeld waren. Het is gek om te bedenken dat er nog altijd mensen wonen in dit gebied dat zo industrieel is. Het is een bijzonder rondje, soms heel erg mooi, soms echt heel erg lelijk. Maar dat maakt het juist zo interessant en ik hou er wel van. Het is jammer dat het soms een beetje verwarrend is wat betreft de bewegwijzering en er zijn behoorlijk wat stukken die je over de weg moet, maar als je de route goed timet, met bijvoorbeeld de zonsondergang, dan is dat eigenlijk helemaal niet zo erg.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
