In een van de noordelijkste delen van Nederland, vind je Dark Sky Park Lauwersoog. \u2018s Nachts is het hier zo donker, dat er maar weinig plekken in ons land zijn waar je meer sterren kunt zien. De wandeling start bij Activiteitencentrum Lauwersnest, waar nog veel meer routes starten en waar je heel veel informatie op kan doen over de natuur, maar ook over de planeten. Na een gezellige kop koffie bij het Activiteitencentrum stapten we enthousiast de dijk op, waar we na verloop van tijd een model van de eerste planeet tegenkwamen. Het pad liep langs een miniatuur van Mercurius. Het idee van de route is dat je een idee krijgt van de verhoudingen tussen de planeten en de afstanden ertussen. Tussendoor kom je ook nog wat informatieve borden tegen en dat maakt dit een superinteressante route.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wij hadden helaas de pech dat het weer een beetje sip was, maar het was alsnog een heel mooi stukje natuur. Na een stuk over de dijk daal je af het bos in. Het was hier heerlijk om vogels te spotten. Het is een heel bijzondere wandeling, met veel informatie. De afstanden tussen de planeten zijn lang, wat natuurlijk de hele boel in perspectief moet brengen, maar het bos is niet afwisselend genoeg om die lange afstanden een beetje leuk te maken. De wandeling is, buiten het hele planetengedoe om, een beetje eentonig. Maar gelukkig vond ik het planetengedoe heel interessant, maar als je dat niet zo ligt, dan is het een beetje een lange wandeling.<\/span><\/p>\n
