Het Hooggelegen Bospad loopt 6,24 kilometer lang dwars door Herinneringsbos Hees bij Soest. Ik liep deze route op een wisselvallige dag om m\u2019n nieuwe regenjas uit te proberen, maar helaas viel er geen druppel. W\u00e9l was het een prachtig bos om door te lopen met harde wind en donkere wolken op de achtergrond, met hoge dennenbomen en dramatisch grote eiken en berken en vanalles.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Het is een beetje gek om een wandeling te starten in een Herinneringsbos, maar het idee erachter is wel heel erg mooi. Nabestaanden kunnen hier as van hun overleden dierbaren uitstrooien of begraven en op de plek zelfs een boom planten. Ik vermoed dat maar een klein stukje van het gebied hiervoor bestemd is, want binnen 20 minuten liep ik al per ongeluk een ruiterpad op.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/span>De route vond ik op Komoot, wat ik echt een draak van een app vind. Ik raakte de hele tijd de weg kwijt omdat de navigatie niet goed werkte. Maar het was eigenlijk niet zo heel erg, omdat het bos echt prachtig is. Aan de rand was het een beetje rumoerig, maar al snel werd het rustiger. Af en toe kom je uit op een enorme open plek. Halverwege de route vind je oeroude stuwwallen uit de ijstijd in het landschap en het leuke is dat een groot deel van het pad over zo\u2019n stuwwal loopt. Je loopt over een smal paadje tussen de bomen door, dat op en neer gaat (en op en neer en op en neer). Het voelt hier echt een beetje alsof je aan het hiken bent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Het Hooggelegen Bospad is echt een hele leuke route door een mooi en bijzonder bos. Het is af en toe even ploeteren om het juiste pad te vinden, maar als het lukt is het het zeker waard. Het is er echt prachtig! Maar ook weinig afwisselend. Na vijf kilometer had ik het wel een beetje gezien en moest ik langs een fietspad terug naar huis, dat was even wat minder.<\/p>\n
