Het Vredevoetpad liepen we op een warme lenteavond. We parkeerden de auto bij Streekmuseum Vredegoed, wat er heel gezellig uit zag, maar helaas dicht was. De horeca was nog w\u00e9l open. We smeerden ons goed in, want het zag er naar uit dat dit een behoorlijk onbeschutte wandeling zou worden. Al bij het startpunt werden we verrast door een enorme boom vol met puttertjes. Het beloofde een vogelrijke wandeling te worden.<\/span><\/p>\n

De eerste 3,5 kilometer waren heel leuk, vol weilanden en slootjes en vogeltjes, maar ook wel een beetje eentonig. Er was nauwelijks afwisseling en we kregen helaas niet de hysterische zonsondergang waar we op gehoopt hadden. Maar het was wel een leuk stuk om te lopen. Om de zoveel tijd kwamen we een hekje tegen waar we overheen moesten stappen. Sommigen waren een beetje spannend, omdat ze wiebelig waren of een beetje afgebroken, maar we hebben het zonder kleerscheuren overleefd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Na deze 3,5 kilometer kwamen we op een asfaltweg terecht die ons door een dorpje leidde. Opeens stonden we oog in oog met een enorme ree. We hielden onze adem in en nadat hij ons even bestudeerd had ging ie er weer vandoor. Nog geen drie meter later sprong er een enorme haas op de weg. En nog een. En toen nog een. Met de molen op de achtergrond was dat wel heel gezellig.<\/p>\n

<\/span>De molen De Trouwe Wachter was heel bijzonder om te zien. Je ziet hem langzaam opdoemen in de verte en je loopt er helemaal omheen. De allerlaatste kilometers loop je weer door een dorp, maar wel over een redelijk drukke weg. Dit stukje vonden we niet zo leuk. Het werd ook een beetje fris, dus dat hielp niet mee, maar het einde was niet zo spannend.<\/span><\/p>\n

De route in het algemeen was erg leuk, een beetje eentonig, maar dat was niet zo erg omdat het echt een mooi gebied is. Veel vogels en wildlife en mooie watertjes. Je kan hier ongetwijfeld een hele leuke dag hebben met een bezoekje aan het Streekmuseum en een koffietje onderweg!<\/span><\/p>\n
