In boswachterij Noordwijk, onderdeel van natuurgebied Hollands Duin, ligt een prachtig dennenbos. Je kan vanaf de parkeerplaats aan de randweg de dennenroute van 2,1 kilometer volgen, aangeduid met witte paaltjes. Wij parkeerden de auto bij de Stayokay aan de randweg, waar je kunt neerstrijken voor een drankje en appeltaartje voor of na de wandeling. Vanaf hier was het ongeveer 300 meter over een fietspad naar het startpunt, waar we direct het bos in liepen.<\/span><\/p>\n

De route doet zijn naam eer aan; we werden begroet door hoge dennenbomen links en rechts van het smalle bospad. Door de bomen scheen het zonnetje en de lucht was strakblauw, wat het hele plaatje nog iets mooier maakte.<\/span><\/p>\n

Boven ons hoorden we vogeltjes vrolijk tjilpen en wisten we verschillende meesjes aan te wijzen. Ook gluurden we door de blaadjes of we misschien een eekhoorntje zagen, maar die waren blijkbaar op vakantie. De kronkelende paadjes liepen zo nu en dan wat omlaag en dan weer omhoog.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Het was een korte maar fijne wandeling. Wellicht wel wat kort om een uur voor naartoe te rijden, maar zeker een aanrader als je toch al in de buurt bent! Niet alleen in de zomer, maar ook in de winter, omdat het vooral een dennenbos is en er dus weinig blaadjes van de bomen vallen.<\/p>\n
