Het was voor ons de allereerste keer dat we in Bennebroek waren. Na een tip van een kennis waren we erachter gekomen dat in een woonwijk een boom vol met ransuilen te vinden was, die daar in de winterperiode zitten te roesten. De trambaanroute van 3,61 kilometer start op een grote (speel-) weide middenin Bennebroek. Hier reed ooit een klein trammetje. Je start op een bruggetje waar je de trambaan nog kunt zien, maar meer van deze sporen hebben wij de rest van de route niet meer gezien. Na het oversteken van het bruggetje loop je direct een woonwijk in.

<\/span>Al vrij snel kwamen we langs de roestboom (kruising Schoollaan en Willinklaan, in \u00e9\u00e9n van de tuinen vanaf de weg zichtbaar), waar een heel gezellige ransuil lekker met z\u2019n snoet in de zon zat te soezen. We zagen nog de achterkant van een tweede en een schim van een eventuele derde. Elk jaar keren ze terug naar dezelfde boom, soms zijn het er een stuk of zeven, maar wij zagen er dus maar twee (of drie!).

<\/span>De route liep verder vooral door de woonwijk. Op zich wel gezellig, maar we waren daar wel een beetje teleurgesteld over. Na een ruime twee kilometer kwamen we opeens in het Bennebroekerbos uit. Dat was wel even een positieve wending, na al dat asfalt en die huizen. Voor mensen die altijd al een keertje uilen hebben willen zien (of echte vogelkijkers) is dit een superleuk stukje om te wandelen. De uilen maken het feit dat de route vooral door een woonwijk loopt, meer dan goed. Dit betekent wel dat dit vooral een leuke route is in de winter wanneer de ransuilen er zitten. Het Bennebroekerbos is een welkome afwisseling.<\/span><\/p>\n
