Vanaf het station kun je in een rondje van 2,9 kilometer kennismaken met de prachtige omgeving, de enorme villa\u2019s en de oude psychiatrische kliniek van Santpoort Zuid. Maar hoe kort dit rondje ook is, het is echt bijzonder hoeveel verschillende dingen je kunt zien in zo\u2019n korte tijd.
<\/strong>
Vanaf station Santpoort-Zuid loop je een korte kilometer door een woonwijk met prachtige en vooral enorme huizen. Al vrij snel kom je op een iets drukkere weg uit, maar die leidt je naar de ru\u00efne van Kasteel van Brederode, een plek die meer dan 800 jaar geschiedenis heeft gezien. Hierna sla je vrij snel linksaf en kom je terecht op het terrein van een voormalige psychiatrische kliniek. Een breed opgezet park met een paar gezellige bruggetjes, mooie paadjes en vogelrijke watertjes. Hier ga je eigenlijk voor het eerst van het asfalt af en loop je dus over een paadje door het gras.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/span>Het laatste deel van de route loopt je over een weggetje door het bos. Dit kan \u2018s avonds nogal donker worden, dus als je dit niet fijn vindt, kun je de route ook andersom lopen. En aan het eind van dit groene paadje, kom je terecht in de groene villawijk van Santpoort. Ommetje Meer en Berg is een hele mooie route, met erg veel hoogtepunten in een heel korte tijd. Je loopt vanuit het station direct de natuur in en ziet in een heel krap uurtje erg veel zeer verschillende dingen. Het is hier prachtig en groen en vaak heel erg stil.
