Ergens midden op de Utrechtse Heuvelrug, vlakbij het Leersumse Veld, vind je Breeveen. Een wandelroute van 2,5 kilometer die je door gevarieerd bos en een groot heideveld voert. Vanaf parkeerplaats De Veldschuur kan je de groen gemarkeerde paaltjes volgen.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Wij wandelden deze route op een niet al te warme lenteavond, nadat we op de heenweg het Stormpad hadden gelopen. Al snel liepen we langs mooie naaldbomen en het pad was een beetje rood door de gevallen naalden. Een sprookjesachtig gezicht. De bomen wisselden snel naar eikenbomen en lijsterbessen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/span>Op een gegeven moment liep het bos over in een heide, een uitgestrekt veld. Het begon een beetje te schemeren, dus de zonsondergang boven de bomen die langs de heide stonden vonden we een prachtig gezicht. Het laatste deel van de wandeling liep na het pad langs en over de heide weer terug in bos, naar het eindpunt van de route. De route was mooi en wisselde af in korte tijd, maar we zouden er niet speciaal naar toe rijden als je niet in de omgeving van Utrecht woont. We raden aan om deze route wel te combineren met het bijzondere Stormpad, wat 1,6 kilometer extra is. <\/span><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.24.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]
