Dwars door het schattige plaatsje Bunnik, stroomt de Krommerijn, met daarlangs het prachtige Jaagpad. Dit pad is een paar keer verkozen tot mooiste wandelpad van Nederland. De Ringslangroute is een wandelpad dat een kort stukje Jaagpad meeneemt en vervolgens door de Elzenbossen van Landgoed Ni\u00ebnhof loopt. Je pakt een stukje bos, een stukje weids weiland en een stukje rivier mee, wat wil een mens nog meer?<\/strong><\/p>\n

De route start officieel vanaf de parkeerplaats van Ni\u00ebnhof, maar als je met het openbaar vervoer komt en dus in het dorp begint, kun je het beste starten op het Jaagpad, dat je na een kleine kilometer langs het startpunt brengt. Vervolgens sla je linksaf en ga je over een bruggetje. Vanaf hier heeft het bos een ander karakter. Er lijkt hier veel meer leven te zijn, je hoort verschillende vogeltjes en af en toe hoor je ergens een muis ritselen. Zouden hier dan misschien de ringslangen zitten waar de route naar genoemd is? Daarna sla je rechtsaf en loop je langs de sloot rondom een weiland. Hier wordt regelmatig een ijsvogel gezien: een prachtige blauwe flits ik de zon. Ook zie je hier soms rond zonsondergang een grote groep ree\u00ebn in de verte.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tot slot loop je op een pad tussen bos en de volkstuinen van Bunnik door richting het bruggetje over de Krommerijn. Hier vind je een en ander aan horeca in het dorp terug. Via het Jaagpad loop je dan langs het dorp en het mooie Huize Cammingha terug naar het beginpunt van de route.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

De Ringslangroute is een klein maar fijn rondje door de natuur, met veel afwisseling en fauna om te zien (maar geen ringslang gezien hetlaas). De wandeling is niet al te lang, dus ideaal als je een keer in de buurt moet zijn, of goed te combineren met bijvoorbeeld een excursie vanuit het Excursiecentrum Ni\u00ebnhof<\/a><\/span><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.24.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]
